you’re right, not worth selling! It was my first DSLR, and while it’s not my main camera now, I still love using it every so often. Yeah, they are very basic by today’s standards aren’t they! Part of the fun of it now I think.

that’s interesting, I had a 40 and 400d 12 years or so ago (in fact, the 400d is still going strong!) but haven’t paid much attention to Canon since, recently been looking and wasn’t sure how the range stood up. I still have my old 70-200f4, like the OP, so wouldn’t mind updating my Canon too.

Thank you very much and well spotted on strings, it's a normal bass but with the addition of an extra low string! So it goes lower than a standard 4 string bass.

Thank you. An UWA is probably where I'll end up next. I used to use a Tokina 12-28 which I loved, so... But I am going to try get some good mileage out of the kit lens first though!

Thanks to all that offered advice earlier on, my first Fuji has been ordered :D Opted for the X-T20 in the end, with the XF 18-55.

@Jelster, ta for the link, I hadn't heard of it until it was earlier pointed out. Unfortunately, there's not much in stock... if I could stretch to 1k, I'd be very tempted by that xt3!!
