The missus has a d5100, stole it the other day when i couldnt charge my d90 battery. First time i have given it a proper run and found it a good capable little camera. Tried out my 50mm 1.8d and even found it manual focus quite good and easy to use. As above i like to shoode wide angle...

On the subject of flash... Using Flashgun off camera TTL with CLS. Any idea how the flash metering is calculated? Can the area be changed or value compensated?

Spent a couple of hours reading through guides and information, and managed to have a play around with inspiration from the above pictures. Quite pleased with the reults from just a single flashgun! Thanks again for the input.

Hello! Im new to the world of flash photography, and in great need of help. Shooting with a d90 and i have recently got a sb700. If anyone has some examples of shots they have taken with a single speedlight they wouldnt mind sharing to show me what i can do and how to setup to achieve...

I hear most people use a magic arm and super clamp? Might be worth a look.

I have the exact same one, works a treat.
