    Start up problem on Canon 70d

    Hi, When I start up my Canon 70d. It flicks from manual focus for a second and then flicks to whatever focus mode I was in when I turned it off. The lens is set to auto. (Canon 18-135 EMS) Is this normal? Many thanks
