    Thanks all! In the end I picked up a Fuji XP170 for £30 new - waterproof, drop proof etc. She's used a similar size camera so confident it will be good. Thanks for all the suggestions!

    Great set of photos you're producing! Really like the tone of them. Is the figure on the right a real person or a statue? Looks almost a bit Gormely-esque in silhouette.

    I'm glad I'm not the only one who comes back with photos of lamp posts - I think I could do a whole show with my collection! Really like the high contrast mono.

    I think I need to start getting out of bed earlier so I can attempt to emulate this. Great shot! If I was being picky, for my taste the buildings are a little too bright and so it feels to me a little artificial. But that might just be my preferences.

    Slightly late to the party, but that's an amazing shot. Were you tracking the bird, or just timed your shot while in focus? Can't imagine the X-T1 coping with tracking...

    I did something similar (although I had the 60 not the 56) and I have no issue with the image quality at all. Relative to the other lenses you're talking about, it's a chunky lens.     Impressive clouds - not everyday you see something like that. I wonder if it might benefit from the buildings being a little brighter. (it's possible that a boost to the yellows/oranges in the BandW mixer would do the trick).
