Need some help regarding flash photography

Thanks Danny. I think its for the closer stuff I'll really need the flash. I'm just worried about either using too much or too little. I don't want to end up with either hard shadows or under/over exposing. I have no idea what the TTL/Manual etc etc mean tbh:thinking: Cheers, Mark

Need some help regarding flash photography

Hi guy's, I've got a few Airbase visits coming off soon and I'll probably need to use a flash for some of the indoor/hangar photos. I have a Nikon SB-800 which I'll use on either my D3 or D300. I've only used it a few times so could do with some advice on what would be the best settings to...

What do you use to clean your sensor ?

Many thanks guy's. After reading this I've now ordered http://www.warehouseexpress.com/buy-delkin-sensor-cleaning-system-scope-vac-3-size-wands-and-solution/p1032861 Bit expensive but should do the trick? Read some reviews, the vac is a waste of space but the rest is ok (I hope). Thanks again...

Authorized Nikon Lens Repair - Manchester

Can anyone tell me if there's an authorized Nikon repair service around the Wales or Manchester area. A friend of mine dropped his 24-70/2.8 and needs it looking at ASAP. Thanks in advance. Mark:)

Shutter count on new camera is not 0..

Guy's, camera shutters get put through a test before been shipped out. I'd rather see a new camera with the odd shutter release counted than one which is zero TBH ;) Mark

    Long Nikon Prime (300mm)

The new 300mm f2.8 VR11 has a better VR performance (so I've been told) but its exactly the same optically. TBH if your a VR/IS user then it maybe worth considering, if not I know what I would do with the money saved. Mark

    Lenscoat for Nikon

Can anyone tell me where the best (cheapest) place to buy a lenscoat cover for both my Nikon 300mm f2.8 VR and 600mm f4 VR would be. I've seen them on Warehouse and the Lenscoat website but was wondering if there was another good place to buy. I'm after the black version for both BTW...

    decisions decisions - long nikkors

You,ve made a good choice. The 600mm f4 VR is a brilliant lens and works well with the D3 and great with the D300 if you need that little bit more reach. I always use a monopod with mine which works a treat. Mark

Fast glass around 300mm and beyond.

The Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 is a cracking lens and will perform very well for sports photography, it also works very well with the 1.4x tc. Mark
