as people have said get some good waterproof clothes and walking boots.
the amout of time I see people walking around in trainers that are soaking wet is...
get yourself a motorsport news and have a look for local events in your area, if you go to a rally it is just a fee to pay for parking (normally about £5) and then go take a walk up or down the stage and stop where ever you like.
Thanks
I think if all you do with your photos is keep them for yourself and put a few up on line it is a good starting lens and if it does get damaged or dirty it is not the end of the world
intresting never even thought about this, I suppose if the camera and lens are supported and can not move around what harm can it do as all the forces are directed straight down so it is a even pressure all the time.
I use a Tamron 70-300 with my Nikon D50
I do get some good results with it, but I am just starting to learn how to use the camera properly so these images are with just basic setting and no photoshop.
for the money it has been great.
I have a nikon d50 had it a few years now.
mainly take photos of motorsport, but never really learnt how to use it so hopefully I will learn a lot and improve my photos.
