Try uninstalling all Nvidia graphics drivers via the control panel, remove the card from device manager and reboot. Might work.

Just bought one from Amazon, an original Nikon, for £13. Only tried a few shots with it but worked from the rear of the camera, but only tried from a couple of yards. Can see it being handy for long exposure shots.

You need a CPU lens for the exposure indicator to work. I'm assuming that a manual focus lens does not have a CPU? :shrug:
