Hi Tim, welcome to the forum, have you tried giving Gimp a go? pretty usefull software and it's free, so if it isn't what you are looking for then no loss.

Really nice set of shots, Mono is top's for me:thumbs: Quick question, i may sound like i'm from the dark ages with this, if i use a neg scanner to scan the negs doe's it hten apear on sreen as a pic? rather than looking like a neg? Another pic to continue the thread

Sorry, post wasn't very clear, the pics are just some old prints of mine to go with the show us your shots thread, the ones in my question are almost completly blacked out!!

Anyone know how long you can store a film after use without developing? i had one back recently after 4-5 years storage and all pics seriously undrexposed, me or the film? Here's a couple of oldies.

Hi everyone, looking to buy my first digital camera, i have a very tight budget and was wondering if anybody had any advice. i've checked out ebay and the one that seems readily available in my price range is the canon eos 300D (used) also i currently have a eos300 will the lenses fit a 300D...

Had a quick go at first image : cloned out poles and fence in bottom right corner crop desaturate reduce noise sharpen add borders as i said before very much a novice, i'm sure some of the people on here can do alot more with it.

As i said i'm very new to this and it may just have been me with paint:shrug:

I have been using Gimp for a week now and would recommend you try playing around with it as it is fairly straight forward:thumbs: tried paint and thought it a complete waste of time:thumbsdown: Im very new to this stuff and if i can work out how to get your pics into Gimp i will have a go at...
