Some of us use the Lowepro Apex 60. Snug fit, with pockets for ~4 extra batteries + couple of SD cards. I usually wear it on my belt. See post #570

I bought my X10 after seing photos from Jim Radcliffe (http://www.boxedlight.com/x10/). This thread helped a bit also, especially posts from DuncanDisorderly.

That ebay hood has vignetting at 28mm according to those pictures. I'm not using a hood, I'm using a 39mm B+W UV filter attached with a small amount of teflon/plumber tape. I always leave the lens cap at home.
