Am thinking of buying an EOS-M now they are so cheap but can anyone tell me if it is possible to switch off the touch screen? - Am a bit worried it is too sensitive and will keep changing settings when it brushes against your body.

Anyone had problems with the touch screen being too sensitive? So that it changes settings whenever it bangs against your body for example?

Hi Lucy I wouldn't be very happy with a camera sold in the UK that didn't have an English manual.... and plug!

I have a Sigma with a mark on the coating - definitely not a scratch and it doesn't affect IQ.

They've been around a long time which says something. I've bought CF and Sony memory sticks in the past and been very satisfied

Sounds to me as though it's dust behind the viewfinder. It's not uncommon: you either live with it or send the camera off to Canon for a clean.

If I were buying I'd probably get the Panasonic version - it's a lot cheaper!

If you're getting a 5D I'd try and keep that Sigma 24-60. It's superb with a 5D...

I have one or two really old lenses and they seem as good as new.... I also have the 50mm f/2.5 and it is a cracking lens, sharp as anything. Peter

I can second the recommendation for the Sigma 24-60mm. I also have the Canon 24-105 but it's the Sigma which is never off my 5D...

I have found the Sigma to be an excellent lens. Even won a (very small) competition with it!

A dreadful libel on Sigma lenses! .... I've bought 4 secondhand off eBay and all are brilliant. It does help if you can buy off someone local to you who will allow personal pickup. That way I think you can almost certainly trust them.

I believe CS4 will open raw files for you if you update the Adobe Camera Raw plug-in to the latest version. All necessary instructions on Adobe website....
