iMac users - switching Fusion HD to SSD ?

I'm going through the same dilemma myself - I have a 2019 imac with 72gb RAM with a 2 TB Fusion drive. I've just changed to DXO Photolab 9 from LRC/Photoshop etc. monthly plan. The computer generally is slowing down, and the delay in rendering the images is now noticeable when I change the...

    Olympus OM-D E-M5, E-M1, E-M10 - Mk1, Mk2 & Mk3 Owners Thread

What makes you say that? OM Systems certainly do not appear to be going away, witnessed by the excellent new Pro lenses brought to market in the last 2/3 years. In fact, it appears they are gaining momentum in the wildlife/birding community. It would be now great to see an updated OM1!

    Nikon Z* mirrorless

I don't know if anyone has spotted this, but I picked it up from a Petapixel article: Nikon Issues Advisory: Some Z6 III, Z5 II, and ZR Have a Hardware Problem Key Details of the Hardware Issue: The Problem: Nikon confirmed a manufacturing issue in certain units that may cause them to become...

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

I knew I shouldn't have gone to The Photography Show yesterday! For quite some time now I have been in awe of the reviews and results of the XF 500mm f5.6. Unfortunately LCE and WEX had a reduction of £600 on the usual retail, so I could resist no longer. The problem was compounded by the fact...

    Om1 Mk2 firmware

I believe that when you install the latest firmware, it warns that you cannot then go back to a previous version.

    Cotswold and Panamoz

I mentioned in the Nikon Z thread - I ordered a body and lens from Cotswold on the evening of Wednesday 28th, on Monday 2nd had email confirming despatch (with tracking number), it was delivered on Tuesday Feb 3rd! I've always had great service from Cotswold.

    Nikon Z* mirrorless

I have one on the way from Park Cameras (Excellent - used). Having read the reviews, the lens seems to be a no brainer at the price. Yours looks good.

    Nikon Z* mirrorless

Just a positive heads up for Cotswold Cameras. Z6iii & 180-600mm ordered late last Wednesday evening (28th), I could have collected today, but being delivered tomorrow. Reckon that's pretty impressive service.

    Nikon Z* mirrorless

I've just had a quick look at their website - I can find no mention that Vat & Import Duty, if levied, will be paid by them. (Unlike suppliers like Cotswold or Panamoz). There is a comment 'Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.' I would be very uneasy about buying from them.

    Nikon Z* mirrorless

I've ordered a Z6iii with the 180-600mm (primarily for bird photography) - I would appreciate any recommendations for CFexpress cards. Delkin look to be reasonably priced, but I don't know if there's any problems reported with them. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    Olympus OM-D E-M5, E-M1, E-M10 - Mk1, Mk2 & Mk3 Owners Thread

I've sent batteries by Royal Mail. Wrapped individually inside the package, I've told my local post office that they're batteries, they fixed a 'battery' label to the outside of the package, and then sent normally. I have to assume that they are not breaking PO rules, so I would suggest it's...

    Olympus OM-D E-M5, E-M1, E-M10 - Mk1, Mk2 & Mk3 Owners Thread

Amazon are on the Olympus approved suppliers list. My understanding is that the lens must be sold and supplied by Amazon themselves, and not a third party supplier.
