Thanks again for the welcomes!
Japan is certainly an interesting place but like I said I'm not getting out enough with the camera :-(
Next month however, I will be visiting Kyoto when my folks fly over from the UK. So I will hopefully have a some nice new shots to share.
Cheers
Phil
Thanks Peter, I'm trying to get out as often as possible but work gets in the way of that...
I might put a few of my older shots up for critique, people on flickr don't seem to offer any criticism for fear of offending by the looks of it.
A macro and a super wide. Something like the following:
105 f2.8VR macro
Tokina 11-16
Macro (the insect shots I've seen on here are superb) and superwide images have been inspiring me the most lately.
An Arnuvo multi-coloured one, bit hippy looking but I didn't really like the standard Nikon strap. Most of the time I hold the camera in my hand so have been considering a wrist strap lately.
Hi all,
Been looking around this forum for the past couple of weeks and decided it was time to register. Seems like a nice friendly place to learn and be inspired. I'm looking forward to learning more and improving my skills here.
I'm a 30 year old Brit who has been living and working in Japan...
