Very many thanks, just the odd mention would be more than enough

How do I contact admin to ask if I can mention a new photography hide I am opening? I have searched in vain.

    1DX2 to R5

Whoops! Too late, I have just pressed the button, but that price is a bit too steep for me anyway.

    1DX2 to R5

Thanks everyone, that is all very reassuring- I reckon I will take the plunge.

    1DX2 to R5

I was wondering if anyone has made the above move? I am thinking about it as all the reviews seem to point in that direction, then someone popped up on another forum to say that the R5’s AF is not as good and the image quality is akin to APSC, nowhere near the 1DX2, which has rather thrown a...

    Filter for Canon 100-400L

My original version one simply wouldn’t focus properly with a filter on, but was pin sharp without. It converted me to not using filters as standard on any lens.

Want to sell random pictures online. Not sure where to start.

I would find suitable print on demand sites and put them on there. City views might sell on Photo4Me, for example.

    Left eye or right eye?

Left eye, mostly both eyes open for me so I can see what is going on. I am right-handed. Regarding knives and forks, the previous poster was spot on. Forks were a fancy Italian invention of the C17th and took a while to catch on. Knives and fingers had been used for centuries previously.

    Best shows on Prime/Netflix?

I haven’t watched it yet but I have lots of friends who have, and they all say that it improves greatly after the first two episodes, and that it is worth sticking with.

    Canon 7d mk1?

I went from a 450D to a 50D and then to a 7D. There was a stellar difference between the 450D and the 7D for any action photography, and I stayed with the 7D for a few years until the 7D2 came out. You would find it a great upgrade for wildlife and aviation.

What was the last gig you went to?

The wonderful Damh the Bard for me (https://www.paganmusic.co.uk). I have seen him three times this year, and would love to equal that next. He is brilliant, especially live.

    Frozen Goose in LIDL's

We have whole goose most years (venison this year for a change) and left over goose curry is delicious. Goose is a wonderful, flavoursome meat, and, as others have said, not greasy at all if correctly cooked. Edited to add, although it is very good in curry, the left-overs are even better in...
