    Yep, they run hot. The main heat exchange is by convection, not the fan, so they run quiter. It can get hot enough to burn if you leave your hand on there long enough.

    Many thanks, I had never thought about the DOF with the smaller aperture, I was too transfixed on the shutter speed. Out with the flashgun it is then. :thumbs:

    Thanks guys, I have bene using Aperture priority, and tried shutter priority as well, but it still stays on 1/60th. Perhaps its best to live with the limitation and work around it. I find most things come out fine, but the odd shot is too bleached. But then I just adjust the flash manually...
