A Lowepro Flipside 400AW takes my Bigmos with room to spare for a couple of bodies, selection of lenses, tubes, flash, ring flash and ancillaries. The Bigmos does sit nicely fitted to a body.

Another + for the 450D. Although not the latest model it is still a cracking first DSLR to hone your skills as a new tog and it is versitile enough to stretch you once you get past the auto settings.

That shot was F/8.0 at 500mm. I seem to get the diagonal effect at the upper end of the zoom range rather than in harsh light.

I don't get the effect shown here, rather a diagonal pattern when using a cheap filter on my Sigma 150-500mm. You can see this effect on the foreground pebbles in this shot
