I'm still researching but I did have the thought of finding the first EOS camera which would natively accept my lenses and I understand it is the EOS 650. I'm thinking of both buying one of these as a simple starting point along with an FG-20 to repair my dads...
I also have a variety of Canon EF L lenses so it would be very useful if there was perhaps an adapter I could buy to put these modern lenses on, albeit with manual focus

I'm looking at getting a film camera. I've looked at everything from OM1 to Mamiya & Hasselblad medium format cameras.

Are these guys definitely ok to order from? Pro camera shop is only £45 more for the 5d3 and are easy to reach by phone and very reliable...i dont know whether the saving is worth it but people seem satisfied with them on here...
im a print outside person too. Tried online retailers who are cheap like photobox and snap fish but the colours/blacks/exposures are poor. Snappy snaps are high street and the quality is top notch. Makes no sense in my eyes to buy a printer, paper, ink and then print them at home although it is...
i would go for the 24-70 and have something else for wider shots when needed. It's worth it for the extra build quality and optical quality. That said, the 17-55mm is a great lens too, many will say it shouldn't be missing a red ring.
