I've got the minolta 50mm got it off eBay for under£50 it's mf though which is a bit of a shame but at that price I can't complain. Also it feels bulletproof!!!

Thanks for that One more question are there any problems with buying flashguns 2nd hand? For instance are they like a household bulb with a limited life? Sorry if that sounds dumb I've seen a 2nd hand jessops one on eBay for £40

As a relative noob I chose the Sony a350 as my first Dslr and to counter the 2nd hand Market arguments one of the reasons i chose it was that I could pick it up 2nd hand for cheaper than the equivalent of the other brands. Another thing that drew me to it was the Sony brand obviously well known...

Hi, I'm looking to move up from the inbuilt flash on my a350 and was looking for a bit of advice. I use my camera mainly for family snaps so portraits really. Can anyone recommend me what I should be looking at getting? Prices and names of shops would be a great help too. Thanks
