The same problem here,the page takes so long to load,,,your customer wont have the patience to waite,,,I want to say more ,but still waiting for loading,,,,:-)

What software to make slideshow?

proshow is good. If you want the old photos effect,try this one DVD movie maker They provide the old photo effect,i have used it for a long time.
