    Amazon Prime for Cloud storage

Thanks everyone, didn't realise this existed with my Amazon Prime subscription. I've got TimeMachine, OneDrive, CCC, and a manual backup already in place, but have taken advantage of this for another offsite backup as Time Machine and CCC are onsite.

    New Zealand

The route you have planned through the South Island will take you through some great and very photogenic scenery. Other places to check out if time permits are Wanaka, Cardrona, Treble Cone, Mount Aspiring National Park and the west coast (check the roads have re-opened, they were closed by...

    L Plate for gripped 5dmk4

I've just purchased the Kirk one and confirm it's a great fit and allows access to battery tray, remote trigger port and all the connections. I also have the Kirk 5D Mark III L plate and it fits the gripped Mark IV, but obstructs the battery tray and remote port, I suspect you'll have a...

Do you still use ND Grads?

Given the capabilties of PP software, I find myself using multiple HDR files (either the HDR file from the camera or the individual -/0/+ exposure shots to create an HDR file) and creating the panorama from them. I'll use a polarise as required, but only tend to use ND Grad's for specific non...

Canon EOS 5D Mark IV Owners Thread

Thanks for calling out impact re burst speed, I'd like to say I'll remember that when camera in hand, but likely there will be a few :banghead: moments - About a 1/3 of my photography is dogs running/playing etc when I want max burst speed.

Canon EOS 5D Mark IV Owners Thread

I'm about to join the 5D Mark IV club, but a little confused on memory cards. 95% + off my shooting will be still photo's so I'd like to save RAW to both cards, will the SD & CF cards below be compatible? SD - https://www.hdewcameras.co.uk/sandisk-64gb-extreme-pro-95mbs-sdxc-2169-p.asp CF -...

Wide Angled Lens To Complete My Trilogy

Get the 16-35 F4, it's brilliant. Like you, I've got the 24-70 2.8 MK II and have the 70-200 2.8 (MK I) and find that a great combination of lens - the modest overlap betweej the 16-35 and 24-70 helps to reduce need to swapping lenses unnecessarily. Assuming you have filters (reading betwenn...

    Spec me a Backpack

Will drop them a line to see when stock will be available - I'm not in a hurry, but would like one in the not too distant future. 2018 GAS is underway.... :)

    Spec me a Backpack

Have a look at the Backlight 36L, it's my first choice to replace a Lowepro Flipside 400 which isn't deep enough for my 5D Mark III with battery grip and L plate. It's available at Wex. F-Stop would be on my list but supply and quality issues over the last few months have put me off.

    Another Lightroom Import issue

I'm having a problem importing existing photo's into Lightroom. I download photo's using the EOS Utility to the following folder structure: Photos > Base Images > YYYY > YYYY_MM_DD - the Canon software creates the last folder dated month and day. I then go to Lightroom and Import the photo's...
