I'm the same both systems have their uses Canon for low light and cropability. Olympus for traveling weight benefits and size in windy conditions. 2 systems one perfect answer to any photographic problem.

    Olympus OM-D E-M5, E-M1, E-M10 - Mk1, Mk2 & Mk3 Owners Thread

One Downside by the looks of it is 2 reviewers have questioned if the old batteries will work in the new body a right pain if you are running an em1x or mkiii alongside it in the field I hope they are wrong. Other specs look pretty impressive though. I shall be interested in the iso capabilities...

Have you considered using an extension tube as well. A set of kenko ones are worth having very light weight and take up very little room in the bag or pocket.

Hi Robin I tried Park, London camera exchange, Clifton cameras and Wex to no avail. Clifton Camera's do Olympus kit days they had Rousey there just before lockdown. You can also trial Olympus kit for a day before you buy. I tried 3 foreign dealers as well to see if I could get one quicker that...

No the 150-400 I took it they were saying it would take 6 months to catch up with the back orders. It's not that big an issue I will mix and match with my Canon gear just means a bigger bag.

Thanks Jeff At least we have been given some idea I'm going to be sceptical and order one and hope its with me in nine months and not the 6 they are quoting I shall be a happy man if I get it any time in between. It beats the 12 months I had been quoted. Means I will have it for my Canada trip.
