Thank you all. In terms of a compact machine, I think my preference will go to the Sony RX100vii for its volume/weight, zoom range and customization. I still haven't managed to grab one of these machines to see how it "feels" in my hand. The Canon G1 X MARK III still is my compact alternative...

To replace my Nikon D200 completely I will prefer sticking with APS-C sensor size. And yes, I consider the X-S10 to be a good replacement but I hope Nikon releases a Z50ii or Z fc ii with IBIS For a compact camera I consider 1'' and M4/3 sensors to be the best options.

I totally agree with you. The Fuji system is excellent. My son has machines from this system and the results are excellent. Really to replace the D200 the Fuji are one of my first options since Nikon has not yet released any machine to replace the D500. I also consider the Nikon Z fc similar to...
