Do you know if the the print head for the black cartridge is different from the colour cartridges print head in order to accommodate the use of black pigment ink?

Are you sure? as I was told that my printer can use two sets of Epson cartridges out of the box, Hummingbird claria inks which is supposed to be a mixture of both dye based & pigment inks or Owl inks which are 100% pigment inks. is this information incorrect?
