    I`m done

From the 2 respective Pentax websites.............speaks volumes http://www.pentaxwebstore.com/product/35312 $700 ( add 20% although they wont pay it = $840 ) Remember this is not a real "SALE" price. I`ve been checking this site for the last 5 months at least and it`s always been the same...

    I`m done

The K5 ii is £599 in Jessops, The K5 iiS is £698 = $1117 It`s regularly available in the US for $699 ( = $840 if you add 20% vat which is unlikely over there ) and very often comes with freebies like a Metz flash or Pentax grip. The grip alone is £200 over here. $840 ( remeber they wont be...

    I`m done

Shouldn`t really have to do that, it seems that the nasty old globalism only works for some people. Again, shouldn`t really have to do that either Agreed, and I will not be buying any of that crap either £1 = $1.62 = 173 Yen = £1 etc. etc. It`s circular....it`s a none argument Slightly...

    I`m done

I`ve made comments about this subject on here before, but now I`ve decided that I`ve had enough. I was looking at buying a Pentax K5 iis and did a bit of shopping around. I was extremely disappointed to discover the price of the body compared to the U.S. In the UK the body is basically £700...

    It's all going to hell!

That`s tough When my Zoom multitrack recorder went on the blink I thought I was going to lose everything but a guy at work loaned me a hard drive caddy that connected to a USB port on my PC. I removed the hard drive from the Zoom, inserted it into the Caddy and I was able to save all the...

I`ve gone from D40 to D90 and was impressed with the improved usabilty and picture quality. However :) I would also like something that is just a bit....well.....more if you know what I mean. So I`ve been looking about and I`m seriously thinking about jumping ship and going to the Pentax K5...

    Neutral Density Filter

Well I suppose this might be a daft question but instead of using a ND filter which look quite expensive, wouldn`t it be possible to get away with using a couple of stacked polarisers, at least to start off with?

Moving lightroom images from one pc to another

I don`t know :) But if it`s not many images I would think about saving the treatments as presets, exporting the presets, importing them into the other computer and just reapplying the presets to the images again in the other machine. Always assuming the LR3 presets are compatible with LR4...

    Amazing Vintage Effect

I`ve had a bash, but I think I`ve got a long way to go. I haven`t got a totally suitable photo to try so I used one of my grandson`s bike which was trimmed up for a contest at the school in honour of the Olympics. Before After
