Im thinking of buying a wide angle lens fr my D40, its going to need auto focus and i want to keep it if i end up up grading bodies in the future. Any ideas as i havent a clue where to start, many thanks.

Hi guys ive recently had a nikon d40 and am slowly getting better every day. I took it out the other day for some night photogrphy, whilst i was indoors it was getting focus and capturing brilliantly but when i tried to shoot a tower outside which was about 10metres away, it wouldn't take. Im...
