    weekly LancsLee's 52s for 2018 - Another catch up - Week 11 - Wet

Thanks for all of the comments, much appreciated. It seems that time, and the weather, has not been on my side recently. Hopefully I can get on top of the challenge again and spend a bit more time on the image capture.

Time to catch up again. Thank goodness the financial year end is now out of the way. Bit of a shoehorn this one, but the ground is usually as wet as the village name. Week 11 - Wet Waterfoot by Lee Turner, on Flickr

Week 10 - Heavy restoration Came across this old building under heavy restoration, or maybe it's just being propped up, in the Northern Quarter of Manchester the other day. The sky was its usual 'meh', so I converted the image to mono. Even after correcting the verticals it appears that the...

Week 9 catch up - Abundance of wealth. Had lots of ideas for this one, but unfortunately the rubbish weather and lack of time kiboshed most of them. Took this one the other night on a gloomy evening. Coming back home to East Lancashire from Central London every week, I really notice the...

Good shot. An abundance of "girders" in that one (you have to be of a certain age :) ).

Hope your mum's up and about very soon. The operation and recovery is a lot better than it used to be. Same thing happened to my mum last year and two days after the op they had her on her feet. She's fully back to normal now, but it did knock her confidence a bit.

    quick question about audio

Run two mics into the desk; one for the performer and one for the ambience. We use a room mic when we use in-ear monitors in order to create a bit of vibe in the in-ear mix and also when recording a live set. Doesn't have to be a great mic for the ambient but it would be better if it's an...

A Development In My Hobby - The Film Journey

Shaun, I would be more than happy with the latest results. Very impressive for only your 4th film. Once you get started with it medium format is a bit addictive. I think you're looking at the right kit with Bronica; still affordable with some very good lenses although I have noticed that a lot...

    Fuji GX680, good idea?

Yep, a large format can be used very easily with a roll film back without utilising any movements. Once you do start using the movements though you'll wonder how you photographed certain things without them. Say good-bye to the majority of converging verticals. The big advantage for me to both...
