Nikon use to put clip on screen protector on their cameras from the factory but they've stopped doing that.
I have a screen protector and its a tempered glass one, very hard and strong. Worth getting for the price and easily replaceable if required. Make sure you get a tempered glass one as...
Ive used them a few times for selling and buying over the years and they've always been top notch. Their quotes are always reasonable and probably better than selling in ebay when you factor in the fees. Would happily recommend them
Recently got myself one of these bad boys (after a long debate against the sigma 150-600 sport). Initial impressions is that it's sharp and very handholdable (which I struggled with the sigma).
One question, do you normally leave vr on all the time? I previously read somewhere you should turn...
I have the Nikon 18-35 for use with my d750. I compared this with the Nikon 16-35 at the time and went with the 18-35 as its much lighter and cheaper. Supposedly it's sharper on the wide end too. There's no vr but normally as these focal lengths, vr doesn't add much.
With regards to the weight, I see that the standard hood weighs close to 300g as its made of metal. Has anyone tried any lighter alternatives? The Nikon hk-30 hood is meant to fit and lighter as it's made of carbon fibre but it's around £200!
My daughter recently had a sports day at her nursery. I asked the nursery beforehand if I can take photos and they said no. Then a few days before the event they asked me to be the days photographer but on the agreement I had to delete all my images after giving them a copy!
On the day there...
I've found my D750 and the d7200, d7100 and D90 before all has fairly loud shutter 'slap'. Recently tried a D810 and found the shutter noise very dampened.
With regards to warranty you should check if it's been previously registered with Nikon as i believe it's not transferable.
If not, it's uk sourced and they are happy to provide you with proof of purchase, then you should have a better chance for a warranty claim.
I have bought used lenses...
I use a think tank sling o matic 20 and it amazes how much it can hold. This might be on the small side of what you are trying to carry but they also do a 30 version which is bigger.
Some excellent images there!
Good to know that focus speed is not too bad on the d750.
I think those who have been complaining about it are either expecting too much (comparing to primes) or using it on slower af bodies.
How are people finding the focus speed on a d750?
I will be looking to shot this type of lens for motorsports and was wondering if it's fast enough for that.
Been comparing this and the sigma 150-600 s which appears similar in IQ but better af however it is much heavier handholding.
