Nikon ah4 stays on my camera and I attach black rapid for long hauls. I'm pretty happy with the combo

I have 622 mkii and works well on D700 wireless triggering. Also iTTL works. I saw the new Di866 mkii specs and it looks very impressive. Also saw a tread with all plus on 866 mkii here and now I'm considering getting one.

More than a decade ago before I could afford a mobile phone I could memorise 50-100 phone numbers. Now struggling to even memorise my other half's number. Are we getting dumber relying on the technology? Remember the days when I was given the first DSLR and my dad make me practice guessing...

That's my biggest dilemma. Only thing I have against 24-70 is it's size and weight to use as everyday lens. I don't want to loose the ability to go wide too. What about keep that lens and get 20mm 2.8d as walk around lens on my d700? Or get 24-120. Or just get use to the beast??? I don't shoot...

Would you say it worth ditching 24-70 f2.8G for 35 f1.4G? I've been using 24-70 and loving it especially the ability to go right close in at 70 range. But it's size and weight is really a pain. I've been looking for a replacement and tried 50 f1.4d and I don't think IQ is as good as the beast...
