great thanks to all! Killard - Im going on the 9th of Feb with him - I'll let you know how it goes! It got down to Minus 12 in Tromso today! I was in Norway for Christmas and it was regularly -5 to -10 so I have aclimatised so to speak... my camera was fine in the cold too.
