Thanks Dave. Think i have sorted it now. Realised that once you have transferred the light meter reading to the lens you than have a bit of choice over DoF by the slight variation of the shutter speed ring..........Is that right?

well have loaded it with Ilford XP2 400 now.used the light on my phone and the top meter operates ok. checked everything i could before i loded the film and the inside of it is spotless so no harm in giving it a go. If it is leaking light then so be it but i cant really check that until i have...

Yeah there is that but i also think that its not a mainstream thing for people to collect older camera stuff. i have found that the little, local car boot sales are the best ones. The bigger ones tend to have more collectors where as the smaller ones people dont really know what they have got lol

Thanks hun. That seems to be working the same as mine does. there is a slight delay between moving either ring depending on where it is and that kind of makes sense in a way now. thanks for finding that for me. best load it up with film and give it a go then lol
