    Nikon Z* mirrorless

I agree with the others suggesting the 24-200. I have had mine for a couple of years now and it has been a great addition to my kit. Very versatile, lightweight and image quality is very good considering it isn't an S lens. Nigel Danson uses the 24-200 quite a lot too, which shows that even pros...

The Photography Show - is it worth it?

Bargains aren't normally aplenty, but there is usually some to be had. If you want to try out some of the newly released gear on the market it's great as all the major players are normally there, but don't go if you are just hoping to get stuff heavily reduced as you will be disappointed. That...

Cameras that are a pleasure to use

D750 for me, got me ito the world of FF, taught me not to be afraid of higher ISOs and got me through my first weddings and events. Still have it now as a backup to my Z6ii, but definitely love it more than the newer camera.

    How did you learn

Started with a bridge camera that had manual settings as well as auto, a lot of trial and error and chimping got me to a point where I knew I needed something more than the bridge camera so I progressed onto my first DSLR. With that I started learning a bit more sensibly through magazines...

    Lencarta softboxes

Just a bit of an update on this, I think a couple of the lencarta softboxes may have been discontinued, the redline profold 95cm has definitely been replaced with the EZ pro folding 80cm and when I asked about a larger version I was given a link to the godox p90L model.

    Lencarta softboxes

Only started looking a week or so before Christmas. With some stuff on lencarta it says out of stock, expected back in on xx date, their soft boxes have a notify me when back in stock instead hence the confusion. That’s a good point on the shipping side of things though

    Lencarta softboxes

As always @Garry Edwards your help is greatly appreciated. I’ll hold off for now then in the hope that the bits I want come back in stock. Got our first baby coming in April so looking to put a bit of a home lighting kit together, so I have some time yet to wait on stock to land

    Lencarta softboxes

Hoping @Garry Edwards may pop up on this one as the man in the know with Lencarta generally... Have they started to effectively phase out the lencarta branded softboxes? There seems to be very few on the website now with lots of them out of stock, but there also appears to be a lot of...

    Nikon Z* mirrorless

I use the 70-200 sport on a z6ii and it works really well. I’ve updated to latest firmware on both the camera and lens and had no issues

Is It New Graphics Card Time?

I can't speak for others, but for me it is less about how often and more about how much per photo set. I occasionally do weddings and it would be useful for the evening shots where the iso has had to be bumped up just to clean them up a bit, likewise a recent holiday where there were nighttime...
