Hi all, cheers for all the replies!
I suppose the Brownrigg spelling issue should have been a rather obvious problem as it happens rather regularly after having conversations over the phone, it can be quite interesting to see what people just make up and add after the Brown.
The KRB is for...
Hi all deciding to put up a website portfolio type thing for my photography, just wondering if you might give feedback on possible URLs.
1 www.krbphoto.co.uk
2 www.krbphotography.co.uk
3 www.keithbrownriggphotgraphy.co.uk
4 www.brownriggphotography.co.uk

Overcooked HDR & skewed horizons for me.
A lot of the other stuff that's being posted could just be categorised as personal pet hates (weddings, children, people that have better kit than you could dream of but still shoot in Auto) however onto them I'll add the fake photographers that seem...
Again cheers for the replies, maybe I'm looking for hen's teeth?!
The zipshot looks interesting but the lack of adjustable leg height would really put me off it, especially for hiking
After some extensive googling I came across this forum which has some interesting home made tripod...
Cheers for taking the time to reply guys.
The froto's look like a possibility, but are still a bit heavier than I'd like.
The "best" I've found, on paper at least, looks like the Velbon V-Pod which weighs in at sub 300grams and can be piked up for around 15quid. Its max weight of 2 Kilo's...
Hi all, I'm looking for a sub 500 gram sub £50 cheap and nasty tripod to take with me when trekking when weight is key.
Whats the best of the worst? :)
I'll be shooting with an Olympus E-420 and 14-42mm with a combined weight of 650 grams so I'm looking for the bare minimum that will hold...
Hi all,
I usually shoot landscapes and I'm considering picking up some filters, probably a polarizer and an ND of some description.
Wondering what anybody uses and keeps with them for when theyre out and about?
Also is there any point picking up the cheapo filters on Ebay or is it better...
Cheers again, yeah having to wait an extra minute sounds a bit bone to me, a minute of cloning in the house is better than a minute spent in the dark outside!
Might head down the park again this afternoon and catch the twilight for some more long exposures, as it dumped a good few inches of...
cheers for the quick replys!
It's the first time out using the tripod, so also the first time I've been doing long exposures. Was a bit worried there was a underlying problem, but thankfully not.
For some reason I turned off the noise reduction and noise filter off, don't really know why I...
Hi all, following one of those "what tripod should i get?" thread I got a benbo trekker which I have to say I'm very pleased with, today was my first complete day out with it and although a wee bit fidly, the versatility is great
Anyways it was falling dark and I ended up doing some...
Thanks for all the advice, especially about when out and about.
I think I might look into a lightweight tripod a couple years down the line when money is a bit more plentiful (hopefully.) Happy with heavy and stable at the moment.
I ended up going for a benbo trekker, which arrived...
Cheers for the replies.
As its going to be my first tripod I would rather get something a bit more weighty that will be stable and last a bit, this being the reason for looking at the Benbo trekker mark III or Redsnapper as they have a comparable weight, and reputably stable and well made...
Hi all, I have been lurking here for a bit and have finally decided to add my voice to the forum :)
I'm a bit of a newbie and am looking to get my first tripod for Chrimbo and was looking for some advice.
After reading a lot of threads I've came to the conclusion that buying cheap is a...
