Thanks guys that online guide looks really helpful. The manuals are OK, but a little cold. Hop to shoot a bit next week. On of my 12 week old twins has been ill, so had my hands full over the past week.
Hoping someone could clear a few things up for me.
Firstly, why does my flash always seem to stick to ISO 400 when I use my flash indoors in Av mode and auto ISO?
Secondly, I'm getting shutter times of 1 second and over @ F2.8 in Av mode when shooting with the flash in admittedly pretty...
The problem with the blur is that your exposure was too long at .5 second. You really need to be shooting at 30 m/s of faster to stop motion, I believe.
Now the problem is that Av mode would not let the camera shoot any faster than .5 seconds at F4, which I'm guessing we the widest your lens...
Love this thread. You have a lovely family!
I have just become the father of twin girls and I'm looking for tips on how to photograph them. This thread has given me some great ideas. I noticed the Gingerbread themed nursery from the early pictures. We have a lot of the same stuff too.
The thought of taking wedding pics for someone fills me with dread. I think laymen assume that anyone with an SLR must be a pro and therefore able to shoot a Wedding!
