    They should work together without issue, putting the drive in takes about 10secs and will be much quicker than a regular external USB SSD.

    Depends how fast you want, I get 600-800 mb/s with external Samsung T5 and T7s and similar with a Crucial X9. I get ~3000mb/s with OWC...
