I think the problem is the condensation, you can kinda see a light brown line in the middle but the condensation really hides it. I think it would perhaps would better with the drip going into a jug from like a V60 or something but then you lose the hourglass shape
Week 9 - Time
This one didn't quite work out as planned, it is a 60 second exposure and I was hoping it would be a gradient on the coffee in the bottom with the lowest areas dark, and upper light along with a line showing the drip. But I still like it! The idea was to show the daily ritual...
Really enjoying both the trees shot for reflections in water and the vintage one. The tree one creates a nice mystery where I'm trying to work out exactly what's going on. The desaturated look (I think it has a little colour in the grass?) works great to emphasize this.

Hi all,
It's catch up time! Firstly Week 7 - Reflections in (Frozen) Water. This was taken slightly later than the deadline (22nd Feb)

Still a bit too cold for water here so I hope I can get away with it's frozen counterpart!
Week 8 - Vintage...
Lovely shot and B&W conversion. As others have said the birds really draw the eye in to. I think I'd perhaps remove the bird on the far left of the frame and the odd floater in the foreground to focus in on the minimalism. But ideal shot for the theme.

This was me looking through a closed shop window on Valentines Day in Barcelona. Captured fairly early with the rising sun lighting the hearts.
Hi Russ, I've found I can attach all my filters then select shutter, aperture, focus etc - though I also did the same with a DSLR.
I generally up the ISO massively to get the scene I want in the frame, focus and then drop it back down to base ISO (or whatever gives the speed I want).
I use a Surface Pro 9, but I do think you can't really use it as an 'on the lap' laptop. Because of the sharp metal bar for holding up main boy and the flexible keyboard angle it's not ideal if you want a sitting on the sofa laptop. You'd need a tea tray on your lap first of something.
Great...
