I have used Come Through Lab in Manchester extensively over the past year. I often had C41 scans sent to me on the same day they received the film. B&W typically 24-48 hours, E6 & ECN2 just over a week. The negatives always come back spotless. I have had a couple of hiccups that aren't unusual...
I was gifted a 35mm roll of Harman Phoenix. I had tried it when first released and found the results quirky and generally underexposed, so decided to overexpose by a stop this time. Still just as quirky! I don't think I'll be buying it with my own money and I'm not sure if I'll hang onto the 120...
I'm not a regular entrant but thought...why not?

They say 10-14 days but in my experience it can be anything from 2 days to 14 days. I assume if your film arrives as they are about to run a batch of E6 you may get lucky.
I assume you are referring to Come Through Lab. I have used them extensively for the past 6 months for C41, B&W, and E6, and my experience has been nothing but excellent, both in terms of results and customer service. The only time they made an error, when the scans of some 120 Ektachrome had...
Thanks for the tip CT. I found this out within about 10 minutes of opening the box! Luckily it didn't stop with a whack but it was enough to teach me to be careful in future.
I actually quite like the push-pull design but it does have it's drawbacks, this being one of them.
DISCLAIMER: This was just a first play and a few snaps, nothing was set up properly and I didn't put any effort into taking properly composed pictures. This was just a quick play to see how the IS worked!
The new lens arrived this morning and after trying to get my head around the push pull...
There is a discussion on this going on over on another forum and I thought it would be interesting to hear your views on the matter.
After a member posted some candid photographs over on another forum, the issue of legality and morality when taking candid pictures involving children kept...
Can anyone recommend a lab that will develop film and scan the negatives onto CD as well? The local Boots and other such places do it but the resolution and sharpness is quite poor.
I'm using both negative and slide film if that makes any difference at all.
It certainly isn't what I'd call bottom of the range, it's one of the sharpest 'L' lenses I've had the pleasure of using. F/2.8 would be nice but the general consensus is that the f/4 is a tad sharper.
I never said anything about them, I wish them all the best :)
My response and 'tone' isn't appreciated but bragging about going to try to get banned is? :bang:
I'm not out to make enemies, I'm doing my best to try to smooth things out. People who share the attitude of FranchiseJuan really...
