Im thinking of whether I should sell my kit lens on its own but I will then be left with the body only in a kit lens box. Is this likely to affect resale value on the body, or in fact both? Thanks

Ive never totally understood this but ive always seemed to rescue shots in Lightroom as shot rather than having to use the RAW file. The adjustability seems to be the same or do i am completely missing something quite obvious? Thanks in advance

Very valid points. I knew there was a reason i came here :) I just cant help but think that if i didnt get the IS i would regret it in the future. I was thinking of using it for things primarily like landscape but there are other opportunities in where I would use it like at the Goodwood FOS...

I would have thought a focal length that great would be best with IS?

Yeh, sorry i meant 5d ii. I think my reasoning behind getting the 7D at the time was for those reasons u mentioned above and didnt fancy spending that much more for 'older' technogy on those terms, if that makes sense. I only have three lenses and seem to suit me fine for what i use it...
