hmm ok i cant seem to figure how to switch off this behavior so i have just turned off OS for now. Its definitely something to do with the OS on my lens

i have OS on the lens yes, but my understanding is that its only working when the shutter is half pressed? also i have wifi off and i dont use live view. still only on 300-350ish shots. i have a genuine canon battery too. not sure if i need to break my battery in? as its brand new? the manual...

Hi guys, Im having an issue with battery drain on my Canon 70D. I have a sigma 17-50 2.8 lens on it and i only seem to get 300 shots or so. I have tried a new battery (canon LP E6 genuine) but still no luck. Any ideas guys? Thanks

ok thanks for the feedback guys. how else would you guys suggest restricting ambient light? increase shutter and reduce aperture?? or simply lower ISO?

ah ok thanks. i thought it would be straight forward. i tried 1 light and convert to B&W but it looked very bland and flat. will try it out :)
