    Canon EF 100mm f2.8 USM Macro Lens

    that lens with the IS is superb, I enjoy the lens very much. I use it for all manner of shots, not just macros. I don't think the IS is necessary however, but I like to hand-hold for my shots a lot so it's a must for me.

    Another vote for the optech pro strap, we loved it so much we got one for each camera.
