I gave up on Canon's raw software. Extremely slow to use. Lightroom instead works well, though I don't know how accurately it translates the raws.

Shooting raw with my g9x mark II I notice I need to increase exposure on every shot. Is this normal? Not much, usually just a touch. Even brightest light clothing stays quite dim.

I got the impression that the G9x Mark II is very popular at this moment. I'd imagine it gaining some momentum. Seeing how these are pretty similar cameras, it would make a lot of sense to have them all in the same thread.

Hi, first post. I have a G9 x Mark II. Is it close enough to G7 x to talk about in this thread or should I make a new thread for it? Or is there a general Canon PowerShot thread somewhere? Didn't find any with search.
