Thanks, yes of course, i DID mean 'Hello' - d'oh. Thanks for your thoughts on the subject. My 55-200 isn't a VR lens and i was in fact also looking at the 70-300 VR but the thought of not having to change lenses through the 18-200mm range seems very attractive. Decisions, decisions :thinking:

I've just joined this forum as having reinvigorated my interest in photography (dusted off my D80 and lenses - 18-70mm & 55-200mm) I want to start chatting with like minded people. I'm also considering selling my lenses and buying a 18-200mm VR - any thoughts peeps?
