    CF cards

I've never thought about this. Just thought it's gonna last forever. I think it will last you at least enough time to wait for the next generation cf card (or whatever new format) comes out. ;)

    Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8D ED

No problem! Glad I can help. It's half the price of the 70-200mm so it is a really nice alternative. If you are used to the weight that's even better!! I have been using primes before I got mine and it took me a while to get used to it... :)

    Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8D ED

Hey, I have the AF-S version but the optics is the same with the AF-D versions I think... Use it for mainly for sports and a bit of wild life photography. I have this lens baby on my d300, not the d90 though... Anyway, I love my 80-200, really enjoy the fast aperture and incredible...

    manual or auto

WORD. I use all modes. Manual is awesome cause you can have all the control you want but it's just not that practical sometimes when you just want to capture the moment.... I normally use it when I'm shooting in a studio where the environment is more or less a constant. Aperture priority...

    Photographing skateboarding - mastering composition

Great informative video(s). Gave me a few ideas and hopefully I can try them out some time soon. I shoot longboarding in general and it's less jumping around and kick flipping but I guess some principles can be applied as well! Great share! Thanks!

The public can be so ignorant at times

Did you tell them you're just doing your job? Or did you just walk away and kept on taking pictures? I can imagine ignoring them will only fuel suspicions... Once I saw an old man just outside an elementary school and snapping pictures of the children playing outside during break time. I had my...

    D300 or D7000?

I went from a d90 to a d200, most people will probably consider this as a 'downgrade' but I just love how the d200 feels in my hands! Also prefer the positions of all the buttons, feels very nature and I feel I have all the control at all time. Now I've gone from a d200 to a d300. In my opinion...

    Nikon's repair service?

Thanks! That's good to know! :) I have a 80-200 f2.8D which I absolutely love. I am not the first owner but it's definitely a lens I want to keep. It's good to know that I can still have it repaired if needed to in the future! :)
