Ah apologies everyone, it is a variable not a graduated filter. Would it be recommended to try a fixed ND filter rather than a variable?

They're not the same thing. The small, white vegetable I would call a Turnip, as I'm from the South, grew up here. But my Mums side of the family are from Cumbria, and would call this same vegetable a Swede. The large, yellow / orange coloured vegetable I would call a Swede, they call a Turnip.

I all, after struggling to explain to a few Polish guys at work today that in the North, what the South would call a swede, is called a Turnip, and vica versa. I was wondering if anybody knew the reason for this? Julian.

Brilliant film!! Personally I hadn't read the book, or watched it in the Theatre, so didn't know the story to it, but thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn't really pay much attention to lighting etc myself, taken in by the story I guess.

Sorry my knowledge on this is all very minimal unfortunately. I do have Photoshop Elements 8, but to be honest have yet to use it. Am really looking to get my skills & understanding with my camera improved before I look at the editing side of things.
