    Backpack recommendations

Yep, it's a shame they seem to be discontinued as it looked ideal. Think I might just go down the normal hiking bag and an insert route, cheaper and more flexible.

    Backpack recommendations

Hello, I am after some recommendations for a back pack for carrying gear for day walks plus a camera. My camera is a Fuji xs10, so relatively small, plus a couple of small lenses and the bag needs to have room for butties and water as well. I have tried a lowepro slingpack and I like the...

Sorry you had to give up the photography. I would definitely be interested when you get round to selling it.

Hello, Any updates on the evoc bag, how are you getting on with it? Still happy? I'm looking for a way to carry a camera on my bike and would love any thoughts. Thanks

    DPOTY 2023 - Chat Thread

I left it so late that I just went for a walk looking for something to fit the theme of decay. Hopefully I will be better prepared next month

    DPOTY 2023 - Chat Thread

Have uploaded an entry, hopefully going to use the challenge as motivation to get out and use my camera more. Hopefully will encourage me to post more on here instead of being just a lurker.

    Help with upgrade quandary

Yes, ended up with a fuji xs10 with a 16 to 80 lens. Used it quite a bit at first but sadly not a huge amount recently. Nothing wrong with the camera, apart from the disappointing battery life, just not really got the bug back.

    Landscape Advice Alpe D'huez

I can't add anything constructive advice wise but as a keen cyclist who rode up alp d'uez as a celebration of my 40th and a big fan of le tour, I will just post to say I admire to dedication and to wish you luck in your quest. I will be very interested to see how your photo comes out.

Wales Recommendations for the Ffestiniog Railway

If you are wanting lineside photos rather than riding on/ stations then get yourself an os map, there are loads of footpaths that seem to follow the line, it's a long line though so would be a very long walk. Have never photographed the ffestiniog so can't recommend any locations personally...

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

Having recently bought a xs10 I'm slowly getting to grips with it but one issue I'm having is battery life, it seems to burn through a full battery really fast, managed about 120 shots yesterday and the battery was down to 1 square remaining. So my questions are can anyone recommend a spare...

    Help with upgrade quandary

Thanks again for all your input. I have now received my trade in credit, although it is some what lower than I hoped, so guess I need to make a trip to my local wex. Are there any particular pitfalls I should be aware of buying used? Do manufactures still allow you to update firmware on...

    Help with upgrade quandary

So, a bit of an update... After a lot of indecision I finally decided to trade in my d90 and all the lenses and get something smaller and easier to carry. So while I wait for my final valuation having sent my gear to wex the procrastination continues. I had decided to get a panasonic g9 but...

    "Panasonic G series" Owners Thread

Thanks for all the comments. I take it the olympus lenses work perfectly with the g9 body? I read somewhere about a special coating on panasonic lenses to help the auto focus?
