i live in the village but have only ever gone to see the seals once. i guess its a case of because its on your doorstep you dont take much notice. i must get down to take pictures sometime though. dont worry, i wont behave like that. its common sense really isnt it?
the quality of my 18-55 is not great, but not terrible considering what i use/need it for. but the real issue is it is terrible at focusing and feels very poorly built. on autofocus a lot of the time it has trouble focusing atall and in manual it is very flimsy and unsmooth

yeah, they seem to go for around £100-£170 on ebay and i think i saw yours on here. im guessing it was yours because it was at £150.

Hi, just wondering if this is a good flash? has anybody had experience with one? and would it work with skyport radio transmitters?
i would mainly use it for BMX and skateboard shots but also some portraits.
so would it be a good buy really?

I am stuck between these lenses and would like to know from people that have them which is the better one to go for.
the full names of the lenses in question are Nikkor 18-55 3.5-5.6G VR and Nikkor 18-70mm f3.5-4.5G IFED

what kind of light would you use for say, a fashion style shoot in a forest or a feild or something. im not really planning on doing one anytime soon (slthiough if i get the chance and find a place etc then i will) but i was ust wondering. flashgun or lamp? and how would you plug the lamp in. or...
what about using a slower shutter speed. then moving the camera a bi during the exposure and then having the flash fire at the end of the exposure so it freezes the subject then you get the subject and lovely light trails :)
