    What would YOU do?

I must admit the reason I ask is becuase I shoot the way that daugirdas mentions, I scroll through my focus points till i get the one that falls nearest to the part of subject I want to focus on and then take the shot. Hence asking if more points are better in peoples experience, but hey I may...

    What would YOU do?

Thanks for the feedback guys - I didn't mean to open a can of worms but the discussion has given me food for thought. Comparing the 5dii and the 1DS ii the latter has a greater range of focus points. Would the availability of more focus points be a help or a hindrance for shooting people and...

    What would YOU do?

I don't need the 10fps but I have been made aware of the improvement of the mkiii for handling higher ISO. Another thing that i'm keen to know from mkII owners is how do you find it not having live view?

    What would YOU do?

I thought about a grip, but it doesn't work for me because it fails to improve the layout of the buttons or the size horizontally of the camera. The battery grip just makes it deeper so to speak.

    What would YOU do?

I'm interested to know what you would do given this situation. I currently have a 500d and love it to bits - especially the ability to shoot video in HD HOWEVER! The thing is just so damn small.... I'm a tradesman and have clunky chunky hands, having held a 1d body it just feels so...

iPad and Photography - what are my options?

I'm not looking to edit. I'm trying to see if anyone has used a canon & iPad paired together to act as a remote live view screen with all the functionality of live view. Nikon users have a solution available to them via Sofortbild. It would be really useful to find an equivalent for canon.

iPad and Photography - what are my options?

Do any of these options you've mentioned allow you to control the camera in the same way you can using live view?

iPad and Photography - what are my options?

Any one have any updates on this situation? It would be great to have wired or wireless control of the canon cameras via an ipad. Anything like the Sofortbild app knocking about for the canons? Shooting wildlife and having remote wireless control of the camera in the field via a tablet (pref...

Thanks for your time Daugirdas May I ask do you own the 24-70mm L and the 24-105mm L? How useful are these on crop body cameras? obviously these will come into there own when I go FF. Also what would you think of the 70-200 f2.8 over the f4?

Adding to lenses to my bag?

Im quite happy to discard some of the lenses in my bag atm as i realise they are the cheaper of all the canon lenses. All of the lenses except the 50mm and the EF-S lens have migrated over from mine and my wifes film SLR's Now I in no way want to give the impression that I am an...
