You never know, Nikon might release a successor to the D750 soon (though I've been reading about the imminent 760 for about 18 months)... and the price of the 750 might drop a little. Are you looking to buy new or second hand?
I use one of those eyelead gel sticks, used it about 3 times now, no problems, and it does a great job :) Just make sure the environment you're doing it in is clean and not dusty - a clean kitchen is ideal... and invest in an illuminated sensor loupe :)
I invested in some jack pyke stuff a while ago and got it out recently and went waddling after some deer. They were more ok with me being there than if I was wearing normal clothes, for sure. Once I got sat in a pile of leaves, mostly behind a log they were within about 5m of me.
I love my Aigle Parcours 2 Iso wellies. Expensive but got them on sale... lovely and warm, and comfortable enough for all day hiking around in them, unlike every other pair I've tried, which feel terrible after an hour or so.
I think I might name mine after Jet Set Willy II rooms, next year. I can never think of good names, so mostly I just leave the file name as it came out of the camera :/
There's the Pro4 version (I Think?) Which is carbon flavoured and a bit lighter if your budget will stretch to it.
Tis a cracking tripod, don't get me wrong. I am just feeble sometimes.
I think I've left mine on 0, and generally use highlight metering, or whatever it's called. *[ ] < That one. Over expose by up to 2 notches on the meter, depending on the scene.
I'm going to play around with multiple exposure blending (for landscapes at least)
