Help for someone selling quite a collection

That’s great, thanks everyone, Ffordes it is then. As you say, we could probably make more privately but I think this is a far easier solution. I’ll pass it on. Jon

Help for someone selling quite a collection

Hi I’m not trying to sell anything here, I’m just after a bit of advice, or at least a friend of mine is. My friends husband was a bit of a collector of mainly Nikon cameras (FM3s etc) but he also has what appears to be a mint Hasselblad 503CW (not sure what lens) and other kit. All of the...

Can anyone recognise this lens mount?

Good call on Yashica, I hadn’t tried that, sadly no joy, neither is in FD. Peculiar! Oh, and I already tried Olympus.

Can anyone recognise this lens mount?

Hi everyone, I’ve just bought a bag of camera bits from a charity shop that had a Minolta Dinax 5000i, a Pentax KM, and a bunch of lenses etc. One of the lenses doesn’t fit either and I’ve tried it on several other makes and it doesn’t fit anything? It’s not a K, or OM, it has a Nikon cap on...

Help! I've just bought a Nikon Super Coolscan 4000 ED

That's what I thought, that's why I bought it. I knew they were expensive so what have I got to lose? Believe it not I also picked up a plustek opticfilm 7300 with all its paraphernalia in a charity shop for £10 the other day! I need to figure out which is better. The Coolscan also has a...

Help! I've just bought a Nikon Super Coolscan 4000 ED

I've just picked it up at a car boot for £5!! There are no cables but it just uses a standard PC power cable and a FireWire connector so that's ok. Is it possible to download the software to run it for free of is it going to cost me more for that than the scanner? Any tips people can give...

Replacement shutter springs for box cameras

You're probably right. I could try taking one out of a 620 camera to go in a 120. Worth a look

Replacement shutter springs for box cameras

Does anyone know if it's possible to get replacement springs for the shutters on box cameras? I have two now that don't rotate fully when triggered. Or does anyone think the problem is not the spring? Sorry, bit of a vague question!

Looks very rare, I'll sell it for a fortune and retire. I knew my ship would come in eventually! [emoji12]

    Mystery object time

Good spot. I took it with a digital I'm afraid (before I got into film). I had a Canon 1200D for Christmas so I have feet in both camps though I do reach for a film camera first more and more.

Just when you think you're getting the hang of this photography lark you realise you are barely skimming the surface! Thanks for the comments.
