I'm surprised there has been no mention of Lens Turbo, Metabones Speedbooster etc.
I use a LensTurbo II on my Fuji X-E1 with a Pentax 50mm f1.4 and love it. The disadvantage of course being the lack of auto focus.
I've not yet developed any film to see results but it appears to be working. It's fairly basic, the shutter button locks if it's too dark so it's doing something at least. I'll have to compare it to another one of my cameras to see if it's accurate
Anyone use a focal reducer? There seems to be quite a few available now. LensTurbo, Metabones Speedbooster, Baveyes, Camdiox etc. Not sure what to go for. I know the Metabones is the best but it is by far the most expensive too.
So it seems one is early 70's and the other is early 80's, I'll have mess around with them and see which one I prefer.
If only one of them was a 50 f1.4.
I've acquired 2 28mm lenses for my X700 one is a f2.8 with 'Minolta' on it and the second is a f3.5 with 'W.Rokkor' on it.
I'm just curious as to what the Rokkor means and which is the better lens

I sometimes use the PhotoForge 2 app on my iPad, it has curves adjustments and levels etc. it's great for messing around with pictures you're just going to share online. A proper computer for anything more serious though
Mine is an ancient iPad 2 aswell
True
Personally I couldn't justify the cost as I rarely shoot above the 55mm focal length, and also I don't really like lugging a tripod about so the IS is really handy. If you are somebody who shoots above that regularly then it is definitely worth going for something better
And no IS unless you pay even more for the IS version. My last photo on my 55-250 before I got rid of my Canon gear, taken on a 20D

I got a Fotodiox adapter so I can use the lenses from my Minolta. Tried it out today, nothing special just at home. Minolta 45mm f/2
