To get back to the default colours of black and white for background/foreground you just need to press the letter 'D'
It may work in you case. Otherwise its a uninstall reinstall!
I have CS3 for Photographers by Scott Kelby and likewise cannot fault it and refer to it constantly.

I do a little restoration work myself and have had the same problem.
I use Photoshop and after adjusting the black and white points using a Levels adjustment layer I flatten the image before using the noise filter on 'Despeckle'.
Works almost all the time.
I concur with Canon Bob regarding Scott Kelby's books.
His style of writing is very easy to follow and the books are extremely informative as is his website - kelbytraining.com

Found out that my current graphics card doesn't support the Dell 2007WFP
So going to have to pospone a month until finances allow a full upgrade. Damn!! :shake:
Thinking about upgrading my existing monitor (standard Dell 19" flat screen) to a 20" widescreen.
Was looking for the 2007WFP as it seemingly had good reviews but it no longer appears on the Dell website.
Dell look to have a new 20" - Dell Ultrasharp 2009WFP for £227.95...
Website will stay live as long as the fees have been paid and nobody pulls the plug!

Happens all the time.
When living Stateside my wife became ill and was diagnosed as suffering from Lymes disease.
We were lucky as it was a well known problem there where we lived and she recovered quickly after treatment.
Hate to think what would have happened if it had not been diagnosed almost immediately...
For those who are interested 'Bulb' as you may have gathered has nothing to do with what we know as a bulb ie light bulb.

Thought buying another brand maybe the answer but wanted to sound out this forum just in case.
