Anybody else no longer wanting to use full frame or larger?

I go through phases. I’ll buy the latest and greatest, spend a fortune on new lenses, then let it sit in my bag unused because it’s too heavy, or too much effort. I wonder if I sold it all and forced myself to only own something like the Leica Q3 for travel would that be better.

    Nikon Z* mirrorless

I’ve just re-joined the Nikon club (my last Nikon camera being the D700). Nikon Z9 Nikon 24mm f1.8 S Nikon 35mm f1.8 S Nikon 50mm f1.8 S Nikon 85mm f1.8 S I’m looking to do a lot more with video so this seemed like one of the best hybrid cameras.

    Full Frame 4k Streaming

I’m looking for a camera that can record 4k 60fps for extended periods of time (4-5hrs) streaming. I’m very concerned about overheating. I have a budget of about £7000. Looking for recommendations.

    One camera, one lens

Interesting. I’ve been in the market for a single camera, single lens setup (I don’t shoot much these days but would prefer to have something decent should I need it). I was looking at the Leica Q3 but I used to take my A9 + 24mm F2.8 everywhere. Maybe an A1 + 40mm f2.5 might do the trick.

    Official Talk Leica thread

I'm returning to my old hobby after a long absence (work seems to have taken over my life), and I could do with some advice. I'm looking for a really good quality travel camera and I've been reading about the Leica Q3 for the past week or two. I would be using this for travel and architecture...

    Help! Market Place

Hi all, I'm just wondering what happened to the market place? I haven't been around for a while but I'm a long-term member who's sold numerous items in the past. Has it gone, or is there a threshold that's been changed that I no longer meet? John

This might be a silly question but can I change focal length remotely on the R5 using an app or remote?

Best Bang for Buck - Full Frame Video Conferencing

I'm going to be using the Atem Mini Extreme ISO so the Blackmagic Pocket 6k Pro looks interesting, but its not fullframe!

Best Bang for Buck - Full Frame Video Conferencing

Yeah, the R5 is considerably more, and out of the budget. I'm looking for alternative recommendations for around 2k per body. 1080 / 4k recording options clean hdmi out Very good autofocus

Best Bang for Buck - Full Frame Video Conferencing

I'm looking to put together an over the top multi camera video conferencing setup. This will cover general video conferencing calls and also a specific setup for presentations and training. Ideally I'd go with two Canon R5s but that is pushing my budget (2k per body). What would you recommend?

    Mac Studio - first thoughts

I recently purchased the new M1 Pro laptop otherwise I’d be all over this. It looks like an amazing piece of kit. Let us know how you get on with it.

    Canon EOS R Series Cameras

That's not my experience. If I go to Spot AF (AF Method) I get a single point AF box to select focus, even with face detect, and EyeAF on, with people priority. No indication of Face or EyeAF identification, and no way I can find to override without going into the menu and changing my AF Method...

    Canon EOS R Series Cameras

Quick question. On my Sony gear I can go into single point AF, and set a custom button to kick in EyeAF. Is there a way to do this on the R5 (I can't find anything). This would save me switching modes in the menu.

Born and breed scouser :) I have the 100-500 on my list but it's a fairly hefty list, so I'm not sure when that's likely to be. This is an absolute cracker.
